Focal Dystonia

Mark is delighted to announce a return to the concert platform after nearly a two year break from giving solo recitals. Since 2003 Mark has been suffering increasingly from focal dystonia, a disabling condition that has affected his ring finger on his right hand. This lead to making the drastic decision to stop giving recitals in 2006 to completely devote his time to retraining his right hand. With the help initially from American guitarist David Leisner and most recently hand specialist Katherine Butler Mark has now thankfully made a full recovery. It has been a very difficult few years for him but is most grateful for all the support he has received from his family, friends and fellow guitarists.
