New CD ‘Chansons Françaises’
Recording new CD
A few pictures from Mark’s recent recording at St. Thomas a’ Becket Church in Pagham, West Sussex, UK. GUITAR CIRCUS auditions 2010
GUITAR CIRCUS is excited to announce that we will be auditioning for our London and Birmingham ensembles in November 2010. We are looking for gifted young classical guitarists aged 12 upwards who have reached Grade 5 standard or higher to train monthly during term-time under the inspirational direction of Gary Ryan (London) and Mark Ashford (Birmingham)
Auditions dates are as follows:

RAM Reunion 2010
The Royal Academy of Music’s Guitar Department is now 50 years old! To celebrate Michael Lewin organised a reunion at the RAM. It was a fantastic afternoon catching up with old friends some of which I’m sure you will recognise.
